      1. Go to  Discovery Tour Ancient Egypt Curriculum Guide and choose a learning objective from the 'Curriculum Map'.

        Under the Learning Objective [LO], there is a  'Take the Guided Tours:' or 'Play Behavior' section.

        In this example;
        objective
        The red text says 'Take A Guided Tour'. This means that you can create a plan for this objective with any of the tours in the game.
        >If your LO says this, you may go ahead with the next step.
        > If your LO says a specific tour such as 'Domesticated Animals Of Ancient Egypt', you must go to that tour (Use the TAB key and then hold right click on the tour in the game).
        >There are also play behaviors, you may examine them by clicking on the red text on the web page.

      2. Play the specified tour (or if your choice is Take A Guided Tour; take any tour) in the game. Pay attention to the content and think of ways to prepare a lesson plan to teach English.

      3. Outline an imaginary lesson plan with the LO, focus on language function / skills, and procedures. For example, you may say ;
        "My LO was 'Make logical inferences from text and cite specific textual evidence to support conclusions drawn from text.' and I played the tour titled ''Domesticated Animals Of Ancient Egypt' and I created a lesson plan focusing on writing and reading. I will ask my students some key vocabulary items from the tour (specify a few examples), start a discussion on which pets they have and which pets they would like, and which pets they think existed in Ancient Egypt. Then, I will let them play the game but while playing I will ask them to focus on the information given in the stations and summarize each station with one sentence. Then after a small discussion I will ask them to write a paragraph about today's pets and pets in Ancient Egypt with what they learned from the game."
