Section outline

  • By the end of this course, A2-level learners will have multiple opportunities to strengthen their core language skills (writing, reading, listening, and speaking) through a wide range of communicative activities focused on the past tense. The course is designed to support learners in understanding and correctly using regular and irregular past tense forms in everyday contexts.

Learners will read short narratives, listen to dialogues about past events, complete sentences using the past tense, and engage in structured speaking tasks to talk about personal experiences.

In addition, the course aims to improve learners’ ability to comprehend and respond to texts and spoken language that involve time expressions and past tense structures, thus reinforcing both grammatical knowledge and practical language use appropriate for the A2 level.
