About Course

Course Aim:

This course aims to introduce A1-A2 level language learners to global citizenship by teaching vocabulary related to countries, nationalities, and world-famous landmarks. Through interactive digital content, learners will improve their reading, listening, and basic language sub-skills while developing cultural awareness.

 

Learning Objectives:

 

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify and match at least 15 different countries with their respective nationalities and flags.

  2. Recognize and name major international landmarks using visual and textual prompts.

  3. Read and understand short, descriptive texts about different people’s home countries and cultures.

  4. Demonstrate listening comprehension by identifying country and nationality names in short audio clips.

  • Ask and answer questions about where people are from and correctly use nationality vocabulary (e.g., Turkish, Brazilian, Italian).

  • Read and listen to short travel diaries fluently, improving your contextual reading comprehension and vocabulary recall.
